We are pleased to announce the final close of the 3C Hercules Fund at approximately US$100 million.
This milestone reflects the trust and support of our Limited Partners, including long-standing investors who have accompanied 3C across multiple cycles, companies, and geographies, as well as new partners joining the 3C platform for the first time. We are deeply grateful for their confidence and remain mindful of the responsibility that comes with it.

Our Thesis
Hercules was established around a core conviction: the AI age must be one in which humans and artificial intelligence thrive together. AI cannot sustainably scale by consuming ever-growing amounts of energy, silicon, capital, and physical infrastructure without fundamentally rethinking how those resources are produced and deployed.
This belief is not merely an aspiration. It is the organizing principle of the fund's investment strategy.
Hercules invests in the foundational infrastructure required to make AI more scalable, efficient, resilient, and sustainable — from compute, memory, and photonics to energy systems and space-based infrastructure.
Early Momentum
Six months into deployment, the fund has already demonstrated strong early momentum:
Early Performance
Hercules is currently generating a 3.0x TVPI, meaningfully ahead of prior 3C vintages at the equivalent stage of their development.
Strategic Deployment
The fund has deployed capital across five category-defining companies. Its barbell strategy — approximately 35% early-stage and 65% late-stage — combines asymmetric venture upside with more visible commercialization and exit pathways.
Portfolio Appreciation
Several portfolio companies have already achieved meaningful valuation increases, reflecting strong operating progress and growing market recognition. Notably, Cerebras has completed a successful Nasdaq listing, providing further validation of the fund's investment strategy.
Robust Investment Pipeline
The fund is actively evaluating opportunities across AI ASICs, photonics, memory, CPU architecture, space data centers, and nuclear energy. Each opportunity represents a direct extension of Hercules' sustainable AI infrastructure thesis.
Looking Ahead
These remain early results. Nevertheless, the fund's initial development is consistent with our original underwriting, while the structural demand for AI infrastructure is accelerating even faster than we anticipated.
With the final closing complete, our focus remains unchanged: to identify and support the foundational technologies that will determine how intelligence is built, powered, connected, and scaled in the decades ahead.
We thank all of our Limited Partners, founders, and partners for helping make this milestone possible.
